omg okay okay... so, for the lives I included 2 softcaps: the first one at 1e2142 lives where now you need 15 A-01 instead of 10 for +5 max levels of Cosmic Consciousness, and the second at 1e4284, for 20 A-01. You went through this and then the game exploded? I recommend you to stop grinding since soon the game will crash. Make a super human reset to stop it, since you got an amount of Supers and Mind Levels no one has reached
In its current 0.4.0 state the universe thing is really questionable. It's largely separate from the main game and, at most, only offers a *500 atom boost. (before getting the Sun anyway, which is painfully expensive)
In the universe menu The Moon Harvest upgrade in particular is just ??? in this iteration, since it's the last and most expensive upgrade and gives a boost to energy generation... with absolutely nothing to spend said energy on afterwards. It also doesn't translate to a boost to anything else.
The "buy cheapest research" automation doesn't buy the infinite researches.
This text on the Super Humans page doesn't actually tell me what it does clearly "Each Super Human assigned increases the Infinite Project bonus by 100%."
I THINK it increases the bonuses from the repeatable researches for each person added to atom drive and endless knowledge, but the percentage on the research page doesn't change. And when I take super humans off of those groups the resulting values don't change as much as I'd expect. It's also unclear if this is +100% for each super human or *2. This last part is noticeable in other parts too, some upgrades in the game are multiplicative increases, others are additive increases, and neither is marked overly clearly.
Do you know what did you do to get that? And please, send me your save via discord so I can investigate. I'm awared of this ocasional bug and I want to see what's happening there
Feature request: Time to availability (based on the current rate) for each purchase. This make it easier to judge.
Progression needs more balance. Currently crawling to get to lives and subjects, with little upgrade options to increase atoms. And grinding to try to get the 1t Temporal Prestige upgrade while only at million order of magnitude….seems like temporal prestige should be at 100mil or 1billion, 1t is too slow to get to. Same this with the Lives and Subject. Just crawling to get to at sx order of magnitude for atoms while i need oc atoms….
tldr; have upgrades earlier to avoid long grinds and keep player more engaged
The Cosmic Consciousness soft cap seems to not work properly. I was at 1075/730, and buying additional A-01 subjects only increased the denominator, to 1075/735 and then to 1075/740. There was no noticeable change in generation of Lives at either point.
Started on my phone browser (Firefox for Android if that matters), exported save, tried to load it on desktop (also Firefox), it says "Import successful", but then nothing changes (even on a hard reload of the page). Kind of a bummer.
yeah, somehow it doesn't work well... try to do a hard reset on your desktop and try it again. If that doesn't work, keep trying, and maybe it'll work... sorry for the inconvenience!
first you need to unlock the second requirement. At this point you should have black hole colliders, so, look at the research tab, and you'll see a new research: Universal Power. Unlock it and your blackholes will start generating Stardust, and the Universe tab (is an icon at the bottom left of the screen) will also be unlocked with the new currency
after 15-ish super humans, the game seems to slow down significantly more than any other point before it. I've probably spent an hour to get the next 2 superhumans, and given that the lives per human and the humans per superhuman both get exponentially larger, I'd estimate it'll take more playtime to get from 15 to 25 superhumans than it took to get from the start of the game to 15. Is this intentional or am I missing a massive income boost somewhere?
Many people commented this too, I need to balance the game before getting The Mind since I've not calculated it well. Surely, I'll use a new mechanic related to stardust to improve this. Ghank you for your feedback!
I'd recommend giving the player more things to do with the energy, as I currently have billions stockpiled and I'm less than halfway to affording the sun
Maybe since the mind improves live/sp/ai gain, the energy could improve prestige gain?
Another smaller thing is that the ai upgrade to stardust nurseries is basically useless past the first 2 prestiges, as the first generator grows larger than practically any number of stardust nursery upgrades past that point
That being said the upgrade isn't useless because it does make those first two prestiges go by much faster but it could be something to consider tweaking
Okay, surely I'll delete that, and change that upgrade with something more useful, maybe related to stacking Stacking Nurseries, or Quark Factories since Nurseries are used for getting Asteroids (you haven't unlocked it yet) and Quark Factories you can forgot it and you won't noticed that exists lol
It appears if you earn stardust, and then Prestige, you lose the stardust. You also do not get the stardust back by reaching the same number of Black Hole colliders. Not sure if this is design or not?
Also if "Temporal Prestige" generated 1%/level of your Prestige amount rather than your current points it'd be significantly more useful, and would effectively automate Prestige (which I would assume is the point of the upgrade). Right now if you ever make a jump in atoms, you need to prestige to catch up your Prestige Points or you could be waiting hours.

You're gaining a 1%/level of your Prestige Points, meaning that it grows your Prestige Points, so you keep growing the PP/s, so it grows infinitely, so I don't know what are you meaning about "Prestige amount rather than your current points"
With the newest release (0.4.0) "Prestige" is gone after a while, probably because the atoms reached the integer limit and thus switched to negative numbers, locking prestige.
I'm still investigating this bug since idk what's causing the negative numbers. I've implemented a solution, but seems like it's not woking well, and it can't be the 64 bit cap since a month ago the game was so unbalanced someone reached 1.00AGHDYQNSIKL... or something like that, which translates to something +1000 times bigger than that. Do you know what made you get this bug? And can you prestige or something to solve this?
Okay, from what I know, it always happen when you leave the game generating afk, so, for every other people that saw this, they don't know what's happening, and that's difficult to track the bug. Also, the Prestige dissapears because it unlocks at 1Oc, and a negative number is lower than that, so it dissapears lol
love the game, although the black hole/universe section seems kinda buggy, i keep on not being able to see my black hole generators, and the stardust connected to them keeps disapearing (i can prestige to fix it, but its annoying to do every time i load the game)
I have 25 super humans, but I'm not seeing anything about "The Mind". Is that not in the game yet?
"Subject Automation" Upgrade seems a bit too expensive compared to the rest of the curve of the game. But it doesn't take a ton of time to get there. Perhaps the few upgrades prior to it should scale up in cost a little bit so that this one feels more natural as well.
I suggest that unassigned Humans and Super Humans are added to tab text. Something like this:
The reason I suggest that is that personally I constantly forget to assign my regular humans and since they are hidden way back there it's sometimes a really long time before i figure it out. But maybe when the numbers get big this might make the tab look ugly. So maybe just an asterisk or something when there were unassigned humans/superhumans.
The Mind isn't on the game yet, it's a snippet for what's coming soon!! Also, thank you for your feedback! I'll implement something similar to that so anyone will forget to put to work those Humans hehe

wait wouldnt hardcap be the right word? softcaps make it possible to go past a number in theory, but with diminishing returns, compared to hardcaps which just prevent a number from going any higher
no, it's softcap, in this case when you reach 1AAA lifes you should cost you 15 instead of 10 A-01 to get +5 max Cosmic Consciousness. I know the difference already, since previously it was hardcapped in 1AAA (I didn't used that word that's true lol)
If you're using the prestige button after you hit like 1.00e+99 prestige points you're only slowing your progress. Passive prestige point growth takes over from that point. You're hitting the softcap.
I've almost caught up to my 0.3.0 save. I still have it on tho, if you need someone to test this later on. The 0.3.1 Alpha is kind of faster, or I'm faster because I know how your game plays now.
you can download the web version since there's a free 0.3.0 version that it's the same to the web one. The downloable archive that you an get for 1$ is the 0.3.1 Alpha version

Also, it seems like the latest version is #34 in the itchio app. It would be nice if the version was visible inside the game so you'll know you've started the correct index.html.
Pretty good so far, can't wait for next updates. Also, "Planet Shop" Sun? Not sure what's your future vision of "scale" might be, but, if you're going by size using the cosmic structures might be fun, If is by energy you can use the kardashev scale. Maybe both?
But I have one issue, I unlocked the universe, bought 4 planets and it should be generating 0.68 energy per second, but it is not generating anything, is a bug?
Is it kind of just practically impossible to get all the planets unlocked currently, or am I doing something wrong? I'm hitting a really hard wall at 16 super humans and I can't seem to get past it. I know the game is still in development and this might just be as far as I can go right now, just want to make sure lol. Thanks for the great game!

The research to unlock stardust says every 50 black hole colliders = 1 stardust, but I am at 793 black hole colliders and still have no stardust whatsoever
To go off of this, when I hit 800 of them, I was suddenly hit with the 16 stardust. I'm guessing you have it only update when milestones are hit, so since i unlocked it after 750 colliders, i was stuck at no stardust until 800

Temporal prestige is broken. It should generate prestige points based on current pending pp, not owned pp.

Something somewhere went wrong and became an extreme negative number. Was trying to just idle till I had enough humans to reach 25 superhumans.

Ah okay, than it's not the 64bit cap. Was my first idea that would explain a flip into the negatives.
I've just let the game run idle in the background and suddenly the atoms where negative.
I was able to presige using super humans but that's not a long-term solution because of the increasing requirements for a super human.
Maybe an "quick-fix" would be to add a button that sets the atoms back to 0.
I'll try to see why it flips to negative numbers now that I have positives again.

I love this game, im playing it for more than a week i think, but im kinda confused what ingenuity does
it brings you some upgrades for atoms, humans, skills and more, but soon it'll have a rework since doesn't do that much for late game

The text on The Colony says that it multiplies life production, but it doesn't actually do that. It's just the next x10 tier additive.

that's softcapped to evade game exploits, now you depend on your prestige points generation. For the next update I'll add some text to clarify it
