A couple bugs I found with the new update:

1) I kept seeing the popup for "The universe beckons!//New content unlocked." every time I prestiged prior to unlocking the universe at 1e100 prestige. I'm assuming it's because I had 10 super humans, which is what the guide says is the unlock requirement. Or I did, except I'm still getting the popup.

2) Due to itch.io's UI completely blocking the X on the universe menu, I decided to switch to the downloaded version, but my stardust didn't seem to carry over. Also, for some reason, none of the buttons on the universe page in the downloaded version are interactable except the X. Based on some experimentation, I think both of these issues stem from something involving the universe.html file. When I moved either the game or the universe.html file out of the folder, the universe page didn't load. I'm guessing the game is calling the universe.html file when clicking on the universe button, but since the universe.html file has no interactable objects, the game doesn't have any interactable objects except the X, which isn't from the universe.html file.

also, for the close X, the game is built to play fullscreen, that should solve all the problems (yeah, I also dislike the itch.io UI)

Bailed between the end of research and the beginning of Life. had this open in another browser but the grind is WAY out of pace with the entire rest of the game to that point. I was getting double-digit Sx by the end. Two more orders of magnitude on top of that is rough.

Very cool game, congrats !
Only thing that I felt boring was the stage between the last research and the first life.

I'm pretty deep in the game (I'm up to 10 super humans), and while I'm really enjoying the game, I do have 1 thing I'd consider a major issue: Assigning humans/super humans  really needs more options for how many to assign. I have OCD tendencies and want the number of humans/super humans assigned to tasks to be the same for each assigned task. Only being able to assign either 1 at a time or 10% of your current humans/super humans makes it extremely difficult to assign more than 10% of my total humans to a given task, and even harder to assign humans to more than 2 tasks (which also decreases my humans assigned to 9% each).  There are other minor issues (as with any alpha build of any game), but this particular issue is the only one that hampers my enjoyment of this otherwise great game. I'm very much looking forward to where this game ends up going!

I think there should be more research before the lives stage, it took a long time to go from the final research to lives. Mostly grinding, so it wasn't very fun

Hey so I like idle games like this but what do I do between having all the research and getting life? Do I just have to wait for like hours, grinding atoms? Im currently in the very low quintillions and I feel like it would be very boring just to wait for so many hours.

You gotta keep prestiging to get the bonus (like at the very least once every two minutes). I focused a lot on the Magnetic Cooling (2nd upgrade)

if you are only in the low Qi you should still be moving pretty fast. One thing this incremental does thats pretty different than a lot of others is that prestige points give a huge bonus to NOT spend them. So the trick is, once you prestige, dont spend the prestige points until you are ready to prestige again. Then once you are ready to prestige, spend your points, then immediately prestige to get your bonus back and repeat

how do i know if ive finished the game? i just got 10 super humans and nothing new showed up ;

Because It's under development, for now there isn't a "Ending" window or anything similar. That thing that will be available at 10 Super Humans will be available soon!

I have been loving the game and played it all day. I think there is a bug though with the super humans. When I assign them to Infinite Atom Drive, it works as intended, but only the first super human assigned to Endless Knowledge seems to affect the speed of skill growth, all other ones do nothing.

well, the first one, as you can see written on the Super Humans tab, applies a huge bonus of 200% to Infinite Atom Drive, and the rest of the applies a 50%. Are you really sure the other Super Humans doesn't do anything?

Nope, not totally sure. I have 12 Super Humans. One applied and 12 applied seem to be the same.

Yup, looks like it does nothing.

15.79 seconds for 1 B Skill points with 1 Super Human, 15.67 with 12 Super Humans. I imagine that the missing 0.12 seconds are due to my finger not being accurate down to an eighth of a second.

I also have 12. So decided to duplicate the test for another data point:

With 1 super human assigned to Endless Knowledge I gained 1B skill points in 17.40s

With 12 super humans assigned to EK I gained 1B skill points in 17.41s (Honestly I was impressed at my precision here lmao)

So yeah I would agree with @docnutnut that anything beyond the first does nothing at all.

I'm awared about the skill points, it should give way more skill points to make a difference, but anyways I'll take a look because it could also be not well applied. Thanks for your feedback!!!

Maybe if Skill Points showed its per second gain,  it would be easier to monitor.

i keep having a weird issue where after i prestige I'm generating less atoms than the previous like the production multiplier is going down instead of up. I haven't confirmed this but before i prestige this last time i was at like 300sx+/s this time im back down to 20sx/s not sure whats causing this.

oh, its normal, you just need to buy again the generators and upgrades to the same amount you had before

I have more than i did previously but the APS for each is lower at the same level of magnetic cooling as i was at previously.

Are you buying PP upgrades? If so, it decreases your atoms/s since each Prestige Point grants a 1%/1.5% of atom bonus, and if you spent them you're losing your atom bonus for a better run

I suggest splitting options into a separate tab, and put all the options there. It will help a lot when future options get added like export/import.

Another suggestion: Certain numbers like number of bought buildings and upgrades should not ne formated into like 1.05k or 1.05e3, I want to read them with integer precision. Please format them in commas(like 1,050), or simply print the number without format.

I've just implemented the integer for generators for the next alpha version, that if everything goes well will be released today. And about the options, since there are just 2 more less they stay on the Main tab. In a future it will have it's different tab

also please add a way to switch to scientific notation, the standard notation is really annoying on these types of games!

i haven't been playing for more than a couple of hours but really good game so far. only thing i have found to fix so far is the "starting atom boost"

the text read "Start with 100% more atoms after prestige per level". it´s a bit unclear what number this multiplies as i have the upgrade in the research giving me Keep 1% of your atoms on prestige.

my best guess is that it looks like it´s only multiplying the starting 1 atom. meaning the upgrade in its tenth level multiples the number by 2 ten times as multipliers seem to count separately per level instead of adding to each other.  that is very low (1024 atoms)compared to the 1% upgrade and makes this one useless.

it doesn't make sense if this multiplied the 1% either though as that would let you start with 1024% after prestige.

no matter what is happening the text is a bit unclear in an otherwise verry easy and well made game especially for this early in dev. Good job!

so it seems like % upgrades in other tabs than the main one are additive rather than multiplicative. 

research acceleration and starting atom boost are not worth buying currently in any part of the game.

well, maybe the starting atom boost not, but research acceleration will be soon very useful since there will be new researches and automations and it will make things way more cheaper :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Anyways, I'm gonna change that 100% atoms upgrade with another prestoge upgrade since I'm not liking the way it works and for higher levels is almost unnecessary. And the upgrade is additive, not multiplicative, so, it should be 11%. There are still some changes I need to make for the prestige upgrades, that needs a small rework. Thank you for your feedback!

fun game. Going to grind it for a while and watch for updates. 

One SUPER minor suggestion. There was a moment deep in my first run where I had a mini-panic because I thought something was bugged or I did something wrong because all of the sudden I was only making xx B per second which was way too low. But I then realized that it was going through the alphabet. To avoid this issue, you could make them lowercase k, m, b, t, qa, qi, sx, sp etc. and then switch to upper case A, B, C, D etc. once you start through the alphabet just to give some clarity and separation.

I initially made the alphabet after decillions to make it easier to read, since everyone knows the order of the alphabet. Anyways, I'll add an option to change the notation to scientific (1e20), so everyone can understand it :)

oh seth... how wrong you are. Imagine not understanding what I was saying and then telling me I'm wrong. Of course I understand k = thousand, m = million etc. You've completely missed my point AND havent played far enough to know you are wrong about it looping around. In this game once you get to Decillion. It starts just going through the alphabet... you know, A then B... then C.... then D... THEN when it gets to Z it goes to AA, AB, AC.

Edit: I just went back and re-read my initial comment to see if maybe I wasn't clear... Bro. It's as if you didnt even read my comment and then downvoted a simple suggestion for the dev because you are illiterate.

oh, nonono, sorry, I didn't explained myself clear, I mean, I made an alphabet after Decillions because after that there are Undecillions, Duodecillions, and millions of 'illions that could squash your head, that's why I added the alphabet after Decillions, to make it clear, but I didn't noticed that almost everything is upper case and could cause confusion. Also, I remembered yesterday your comment and I changed the K, M and B to lower case for the 0.3.0 Alpha V3 that will be launched today, since I remembered someone asked me to change that since it could cause confusion between the B of Billion and the B of the alphabet, and others.

I'm really sorry if I didn't explained myself well, I needed to attend like 300 feedbacks and I was quick writting. To prove I read your entire comment, in a hour or less I'll release the new alpha, that will be free in discord, if you wanna test it ''':D

Having played this for a couple of days, loving it so far, and i could have never known how appreciated it is that generators and upgrades have their seperate "1x, 5x, 10x and MAX", insane what difference that makes to a game, atleast for me personally :D

yeah, there are automations for that, just keep advancing into the game! you'll unlock them soon. If you unlocked them and you see them slow, the next patch 0.3.0 will solve that problem, with even more automations!

Thoughts on perhaps adding a research that gives us 1% or so of Prestige points per second? At some point, doing prestige resets is a pain, and it would help the automation process. Either Unlock it at Humans or Super Humans.

Seemed to have hit an issue on 0.2.2 in the browser (after a couple of "life ascensions" where I have tonnes of lives but the Ascend for Humans button is disabled (and not updating to show how many Humans I would get). Game seems to run fine other than this

Sneaking through the code, it seems to be an issue with calculateMaxAffordable as it returns 0:

yeah, I'm updating it quickly right now, That's because each Human costs slightly more than the previous one. And that text is static, I should make it show the next human value. Reload the page, you should get more humans.

Yeah, I need to make a notification system and make the tabs more pretty, instead of making tabs pop up. This is under development, and yeah, I was more focused on quantity and mechanics than quality. The next update will implement this changes, thank you so much for your feedback!! :)

I think  we have a overflow related to the current Atom income. The game freeze when ever I upgreade magnetic cooling or just wait for the income increass.

Also, I think the blance needs to be rework. I can simply increase the digits with all the mechanics before getting 1 human

Game spirals out of control at a time you get to humans (without even doing reset for humans), you can just prestige/ upgrade health and it goes into inf in 5 -10 minutes of that and freezes.

yeah, I was working on that because I noticed getting to Super Humans can get into a hell spiral lol

And then Super Humans are a slog. Can only get one at a time and most of the upgrades only do anything for Humans (where you don't need help). Literally just the one that gives you more of its own currency and the next one have any use at all. You slog through the whole game again only to be rewarded with x2 to that upgrade, then 1.5x, then 1.25x, etc. Both humans and super humans should have some re-balancing.

I know right, I'm keeping working on balancing the game, I've made many tests and stuff and I almost got the perfect balance, tomorrow it'll be fixed

Hey, nice little game. I found a bug/issue, where I am stuck with 0 Atoms, having to wait for a human reset (which will probably take forever if you dont have any atom production). I think it happens if you prestige twice in a row right after a human reset or something like that.  A soft reset/prestige without getting prestige points or something is needed.  Or a "1 Atoms" clicker option

I was thinking to change it directly to 0 starting atoms, and that the first generator cost 0, so that bug won't happen again, since I've also noticed that. If that happen again, reload the page :)

A nice feature would be a level MX number under the level number for items that boost other things ever X levels such as the Supernova Forge which boosts the maximum Magnetic Cooling every 50 levels [In case you didn't understand what I meant by MX I used M as short for Modulo] so you can see how many more of them you need to get until the next boost

okay, noted! I think that's because you can't see it well when Supernova Forge reached 1k right?

*nod* yeah once you hit one k plus you can no longer see the actual value you a rounded value for the tens place and nothing for the ones place and for most things that doesn't matter but when you get special power ups for ever x levels it becomes nice knowing how close you are to that next power up 

*Blinks* Is it just me or is there no way to import and export your game? I'd been playing on the browser for a day or so and was thinking about transferring over to the download version but I don't see a way to transfer my save from one to the other

No, for now there isn't a transfer option, It'll be available very soon because It's also a bit difficult for me too to test higher levels haha

Oh snap. I'm also interested in doing the same thing - please implement! Very into your game, I'd buy on Steam for ~$5.

It may only be an issue with my comprehension skills but I don't get why buying the 'Cosmic Consciousness' upgrade heavily boosts my atoms/s even if I have 0.00 lives. I just feel like some things would be better off with a brief explanaition attatched. That said it seems to be a really nice game!!

well, in theory, it boost your atom/s because it boosts your life/s, which boosts your atom/s, but I'll take a look anyways. Sorry if there's some stuff with no enough explanation because I was more focused on building the game. Thank you!! <3

and also, Cosmic Consciousness is think to be taken after the first live upgrade is bought, but if it boosts your atom/s when you have 0.00 lives, there must be definitely something I missed

I seem to have broken it! Playing in Chrome, all running fine up to this point, but now if I reload it, it just runs for a second then freezes completely.

Mhmmm at this point you're, I've never experienced it, and I usually reload the app so much to apply new changes internally or to test stuff. Meanwhile can you try to keep reloading it until it works? You can also press F12 and see the console so you can tell me the error, so I can fix it quickly.
